About the Class
An introduction to the exicing world of flamenco 12 count rhythm! In this class we'll study marcajes typically used in 12 count palos, 12 count palmas patterns, and learn about the unique musical structure of Fandangos de Huelva.
An hour and 15 minute class, the last 15 minutes will be dedicated to the folk dance Sevillanas. In the Spring we'll learn the 4th Sevillana and review all 4 Sevillanas choreographies.
New students with previous flamenco experience are welcome to join this class, students with limited Sevillanas experience can elect to take only the first hour of class (Techique and Fandangos).
