Bulerías por fiesta with Juan Paredes

The objective of this workshop is to bring people closer to learning and enjoying the rhythm and basic technique of baile por bulerias. In a playful and fun way, the workshop provides basic knowledge that allows participants to enjoy, learn, and immerse themselves in the unique and authentic soniquete (sound) of Flamenco.

These are not classes to accumulate steps, choreography, or stress! The classes focus on rhythm, dance, and palmas to help students develop their awareness, trust, and understanding of soniquete por bulerias.

Level:

This is a multilevel workshop for flamenco dancers and musicians. Some previous encounters with Bulerias is recommended. Please get in touch if you are unsure if the workshop will be a good fit for you.

Cost:

$105 for three 1.5 hr classes.

You may register via PayPal or bring cash/check to the studio.

If you are unable to attend all three days you may register for individual days ($35/day), email us at espacioflamencopdx@gmail.com to arrange registration for one or two days.

Refund policy:

Except for a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 by antigen or PCR test, refunds will not be offered after tuition payments are made.
