About the Class
In this class for our youngest flamenco dancers, students are introduced to rhythms, patterns, and movements in a fun and welcoming environment. The 3-week mini-session in April will be focused on preparing students and parents for a small performance at Féria on April 27. Families continuing from Winter session and/or returning from Fall session are welcome to join and perform with us!
The 6-week spring session is open to new and returning students and their families. (In flamenco, everyone is encouraged to participate!) We’ll practice basic flamenco dance movements, play palmas (rhythmic clapping), sing, and explore a range of rhythms found in the flamenco world.
No flamenco shoes required. If they have them, students are welcome to wear character or tap shoes.
