About the Class
In this class we will study the foundational elements of this fun and festive style. Alegrías is perhaps the most codified and classic palo for Flamenco dance and is also great for fiesta settings. We will learn the essential guitar elements for the accompaniment of cante and baile por Alegrías including marcajes, letra accompaniment, llamada, a falseta and a silencio.
Fall 12 weeks:
9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/15, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
*No class 10/1, 10/8, 10/22
*All classes can be taken in person or via ZOOM
Pay in three installments of: $64
Class hourly cost:
$18/hr Drop-in (full price)
$16/hr Payment in 3 Installments (10% discount)
$14/hr Full Session (20% discount)
If you elect to pay for the session in 3 installments you will receive invoices for the 2nd and 3rd payments.
