About the Class
The Introduction to Flamenco II class is for students who have taken Introduction to Flamenco, have previous experience with Flamenco dance, or would like a faster paced introductory class. In this class students will acquire a strong foundation in flamenco dance technique while also exploring elements of flamenco musicality, rhythm, structure, and improvisation. In this class we'll work with the fiesta friendly palo Tangos and the final 15 minutes of each class will be dedicated to learning the Spanish folk dance Sevillanas.
7 weeks:
4/7, 4/14, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2
*No class 4/21, 4/28
**All classes can be attended in person or via ZOOM
Class hourly cost:
$18/hr Drop in
$16/hr Monthly (10% discount)
$14/hr Full Session (20% discount)
