About the Class
This fall, we’ll begin a new choreography por Soleá, a palo known for its emotional depth, slow tempo, and commanding presence. We’ll continue developing mantón technique, focusing on control, precision, and artistry.
The mantón becomes an extension of your body, adding power and grace. In class, we’ll refine upper body movement, improve posture, and build fluidity through the arms and shoulders.This class is ideal for dancers with prior flamenco experience who want to challenge their technique and expressiveness.
Limited loaner mantones are available for use in class.
Fall 13 weeks 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/21*, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
No class: 10/22, 10/29, 11/26 *There will be no class on Wednesday 10/22. Instead, we will meet on Tuesday 10/21 for a master class with guest artists touring with Spain Flamenco Arts.
Full session: $182
Installment Plan: 3 payments of $70
If you elect to pay for the session in 3 monthly installments you will receive invoices for the 2nd and 3rd payments.
