About the Class
This Beginning Level class is appropriate for absolute beginners with no previous flamenco dance experience, for returning beginners who have taken one or more sessions of “Introduction to Flamenco Dance,” and for dancers who would like to spend more time with the basics.
In this class students will acquire a strong foundation in flamenco dance technique while also exploring elements of flamenco musicality, rhythm, structure, and improvisation. In the Fall we will begin to learn choreography por Tangos to perform at our student showcase June 6th. Last fifteen minutes of class will be dedicated to learning, relearning, and reviewing Sevillanas #1.
Fall 14 weeks 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21*, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16
*10/21 class meets at 7:00pm for Technique with Rafael Ramirez

Pay in Three Installments: $94

All students must complete the STUDENT REGISTRATION form prior to the first class.
If you elect to pay for the session in 3 installments you will receive invoices for the 2nd and 3rd payments.
