Workshops with David Romero

Espacio Flamenco is thrilled to host flamenco dance workshops with David Romero, Friday April 21 – Tuesday April 25.

After over 2 years of studying online, we’re so excited to dance with David in person.  An inspiring and innovative dancer, choreographer, and teacher, David will instill in students a deeper understanding of body styling, weight change, and intention behind the movement.

Workshops

FANDANGOS - Level 1 Dance and up

In this multi-level workshop, we'll dive into fandangos.  A fundamental, elegant palo from the coastal city of Huelva.  Class will focus on style and choreography.

Bonus!!!  David will be setting a piece that workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform at the shows on April 27 & 28.

BATA DE COLA – Level 1 Dance and up (previous experience with bata required)

David has developed his own approach to teaching bata de cola.  Class will focus on the techniques necessary to dance with this beautiful prop.
