Join us for this special opportunity to study flamenco singing with maestro Cristo Cortes. Everyone is welcome, no previous singing or flamenco experience is necessary. Lyrics will be provided. 

Cristo Cortes - Singer

Cristo Cortés was born in Marseille into a family of singers originally from the region of Almeria (Andalusia). Since the age of 6, he debuted in weddings and juergas, then quickly began performing on stage with his brothers. He participated in the biennial flamenca de Lyon and the biennial in Seville. He's toured the US and Mexico with Andrés Marin and performed in the opening of the Festival de Nîmes along with Tomatito, Niño de Pura, Manolo Franco and Marina Heredia. He has performed with aquera de Jerez, and he toured in France with the show Romancero Gitano and more recently performed with El Choro, Jose Maya and Montse Cortes. Cristo Cortés is currently recognized as the best flamenco singer resident in France, respected and solicited by many artists throughout the world thanks to his unique voice and to his expansive knowledge of the art of flamenco due to his many years of experience on stage.
