Join us for an evening of Flamenco Music at Bar Botellón!

Every first Thursday of the month, Bar Botellón is filled with the sounds of flamenco from Tangos to Tarantos, Sevillanas to Solea. For the Flamenco aficionado this is the place to enjoy live Flamenco music paired with tapas and drinks! Our March performance features singer Elisa Rocha. As always, flamenco musicians and dancers are encouraged to come participate in the jam.

About Elisa:

Elisa began her musical journey as a classical violinist and jazz singer. She discovered her passion for flamenco in 2007 as a flamenco baile student in Portland, Oregon. As a musician and singer, she quickly realized the study of flamenco cante was central to her understanding of flamenco and her ability to communicate with other flamenco artists. She met Brenna McDonald in 2011 and began performing with Flamenco Callejero before joining Espacio Flamenco in 2016.Elisa has been inspired by opportunities to study cante with Alfonso Cid, José Cortés, Vicente Griego, Luis Moneo, and Oscar Nieto. She draws from all these experiences to share her love of flamenco with the incredible community of flamenco artists in Portland.
