Co-Director Dance

Biography

After years of studying various forms of dance, Lillie dedicated her dance training to flamenco in 1997. Her strength is improvisation, allowing her to sincerely connect with the audience and musicians. She enjoys fusing traditional and modern movements, inviting a fresh perspective to this complex, emotional art form.

Lillie started teaching in 2011, co-founded Espacio Flamenco in 2016, and has been performing & instructing full-time since then.

In class she focuses on body technique. Being able to dance with “peso” (weight) is essential, and she’s excited to share her knowledge on how to engage the body to “look flamenco”.

She continues to develop her skills as a dancer & choreographer by studying with inspiring, master artists regularly in the States, abroad, and virtually.
