About the Class
This fall we’ll begin work on a dynamic new piece for the 2026 season. Jaleos is a festive, lively palo from Extremadura, known for its lighthearted energy, sharp rhythmic drive, and spontaneous character. Often described as a rustic cousin of bulerías, jaleos features punchy vocal lines, playful lyrics, and a strong emphasis on call-and-response between singer, palmas, and dancer.
This ensemble class is designed for our higher-level dancers to advance their timing, spatial awareness, and group artistry through collaborative choreography. Regular attendance is encouraged to build strong group cohesion.

No Class: 10/30, 11/27
*There will be no class on Thursday 10/30. Instead, we will meet on Tuesday 10/21 for a master class with guest artists touring with Spain Flamenco Arts.
70-Minute Class Rates:
Drop-in: $21 per class
Installment Plan: $18.50 per class
Full Session: $16 per class
Full Session Total: $208
Installment Plan: 3 payments of $80
If you elect to pay for the session in 3 monthly installments you will receive invoices for the 2nd and 3rd payments.
