About the Class
Beginning/Intermediate level guitarists have previous experience with flamenco right hand techniques (rasgueos, rest stroke picado, alzapua, arpeggios, tremolo), 12 count marcajes, and flamenco dance and singing accompaniment. In the Spring we will start learning Sigiruiyas material for cante and baile accompaniment and continue to practice Guajiras. Guitarists are invited to accompany dancers at the student show June 6th at Lincoln Hall.
11 weeks: 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10*
*Class 6/10 meets 6:15pm - 7:15pm for Bulerias with Juan Paredes
Full Session: $176
3 installments: $66
Class hourly cost:
$20/hr Drop-in (full price)
$18/hr Payment in 3 Installments (10% discount)
$16/hr Full Session (20% discount)
If you elect to pay for the session in 3 monthly installments you will receive invoices for the 2nd and 3rd payments.
