About the Class
Introduction to Flamenco Dance is the perfect class for students who are new to flamenco, as well as returning dancers who would like to review the fundamentals. Designed for absolute beginners, this class introduces the foundations of flamenco through its essential vocabulary, rhythms, and movements. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
Students are welcome to bring their own flamenco shoes, borrow a pair from our loaner shoe collection, or participate in street shoes or socks.
Please wear lightweight, comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Loaner flamenco skirts are also available for use during class.
9 weeks:
10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/27*, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9
*No classes 10/28 - we'll meet on Tuesday, 10/27 at 6:00pm for a special master class with artists from La Velada.
*No class 11/25
Full Session: $126
A 3% processing fee will be applied to online payments.
