About the Class
Soleá por Bulerías lives in that powerful space where gravity meets momentum. It holds the grounded, nuanced emotion of Soleá, but pulses with a steady, driving energy. It is a cornerstone of any tablao performance, and diving into it is where you sharpen your rhythm, refine your stage presence, and develop your artistic autonomy.
In the Fall, we will lay the groundwork by focusing on the salida/first letra and the second letra.
11 weeks: 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29*, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 No class 11/26
*No class 10/29 - we'll meet on Tuesday, 10/27, for a special master class with artists from La Velada.
70-Minute Class Rates:
Drop-in: $21 per class
Full Session: $16 per class
Full Session Total: $176
A 3% processing fee will be applied to online payments.
